How Bad Do You Want It, Part II

Redefine Your Grind.

Blogging is a neat time capsule. I woke up early this morning and took a look back at mine. I first realized, wow, I haven’t blogged nearly as much as I should have in the past year (sorry for that) but more importantly – in reflecting back, I realized double wow, in just one year, A LOT of growth took place in my life, both personally and professionally.

About a year ago, on September 12th, I highlighted “How Bad Do You Want It” – a powerful speech by Eric Thomas in conjunction with the motivational grind by Giavanni Ruffin. This video was so awesome, it caught the attention of nearly 10 million viewers (now that’s impact).

Things either evolve or they fizzle. Your career, your relationships, your health and fitness – they all take work, day in and day out. As I reflect on the past year, I’m genuinely pleased with the growth spurt my life took. Though there were equal amounts of growing pains that went along with it. In the day to day grind, it may not always feel like things are happening as fast as you want them to, but when you put the work in, day after day after day, you’d be surprised where you may be standing just a year later.

Just sharing a little Saturday morning reflection and inspiration to remind you to put in the time and grind. Where are you from a year ago today in your career, relationships, heath? But that’s not enough, you gotta keep moving, keep redefining the grind. Where do you want to be a year from now?

Here’s a continuation from Eric Thomas and Giavanni Ruffin – How Bad Do You Want It, Part II.

“When you feel like you’ve given all you’ve got, you gotta take one more step” – Eric Thomas

This design is steller! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  2. Wow! I did not know there was a part II to that video! It’s one of my favorite motivational videos. Thank you for that. Not sure if you’ve seen this video but it’s another one of my favorites:
